[[File:lamppost.webp|400px|thumb|right|One of the lampposts from the game]] ==Reference== In the game, The Beginners Guide, the narrator, Davey Wreden, takes you through multiple games made by a former friend named "Coda". In Coda's games, there are lampposts place at some point in the game, Davey telling us it has some significance. During the end of the game, we play the last game Coda sent to Davey, with the line "Would you stop changing my games? Stop adding lampposts to them?" plastered on one of the walls, showing that Davey placed the lampposts in Coda's game, to add some sort of deeper meaning where there was none. The line "Stop putting lampposts in my games" is actually a misnomer, since it was never in the game. ==Usage== Simply say "Stop putting lampposts in my games" at any relevant opportunity. ==Original Game== [https://store.steampowered.com/app/303210/The_Beginners_Guide/| The Beginners Guide on Steam]
